Self funded residency slots

Beyond the open calls, La Cap offers a series of self-funded, self-organized residency slots for authors, makers and researchers asking for a contribution to cover accommodation and utility costs in partnership with Agriturismo Podere la Capacciola. Special conditions for those who find themselves in a period of personal difficulty can be discussed. Let us know and we will see what can be done.

• Accomodation

• Use and access to the equipped studio (70 sqm).

• Use of Podere la Capacciola shared spaces (barn, thinkers/writing area, open air spaces, swimming pool…);

• Library Corner

• Free wi-fi

 

Shared Studio Use
If more residents are at La Cap in the same period, studio use will be negotiated between the residents prior or once your arrival on site.

 

Residency Experience
The apartments are all equipped with  kitchen, and there are several supermarkets nearby that can be easily reached on foot or by bike. If you need a ride, we'd be happy to help when we're in the area. We ask that you take good care of your living space and the common areas, keeping them, the studio and your apartment clean and tidy throughout your stay. 

 

Accommodation options: 

• Bedroom with direct access to the studio with single and double use option, private toilet and mini kitchen corner (Studio Pigsty). 

• Bed in a shared double room with shared toilet and kitchen. 

• Bed in a single room with shared toilet and kitchen. 

• Entire apartment with kitchen (Girasole: 3 bedrooms - max 6 people | Ulivo: 2 bedrooms - max 4 people).
