RE|HUBS

SEMINARS

At La Cap, we design customized workshops and seminars aimed at both transferring skills and knowledge and creating spaces for open exploration. These moments are intended to offer connective insights by integrating participants with the shared spaces and open perspectives on contemporary culture and the world at large.

The Authors and makers Re|Hubs series

is a cycle of seminars designed to inspire and reconnect artists, creators, writers, and thinkers, offering them a space for dialogue, experimentation, and creative recovery.

La Cap, provides participants the opportunity both to reside on-site and have access to the studio space, allowing these gatherings to foster cross-disciplinary exchange and nurture practices in dialogue and co-habitation with national and international mentors.

SEMINAR with Euripides Laskaridis

La Cap is a calm, secluded spot far from urban distractions, a place to cultivate the acts of imagining, thinking and body mind connection, located in a rural area in the center of Tuscany, in the village of Sinalunga situated between Siena and Arezzo.

La Cap offers residences to artists, thinkers, writers, reporters, film- makers, choreographers and cross-border actors together with projects that need a place where the focus is on the process rather than on the product. We are also interested in creating platforms for dialogue and research on cultural policies, investigating how culture can serve as a catalyst for community development and enrich rural life.

We usually launch one call for residency entirely sustained by La Cap during the year focused on emerging projects  (Yeast Residency).

Outside that, we are always open to accept proposals that need a quiet place to develop in exchange for a contribution to cover accommodation and space usage.
